How Good Is The LG CU400? Find Out…

So I got this new phone, courtesy of my beautiful sister.

Pretty cool I think. Plus, this was a way for me to try the “Link It” feature. Again, pretty cool.

So I’m officially done with my old crappy prepaid Virgin Vox 8610 phone. Farewell old friend.

But this new LG is AWESOME!! It does so much cool stuff, like the Push to Talk feature, basically a walkie talkie feature that you can talk to others who have this feature with the push of the side button. I definitely recommend it. Check one out if you’re in the market. My sis got it during a special where it ended up costing very little. I think they run about $200. On special about $30. The only downside is having to purchase a subscription to every cool feature, like streaming videos, music, t.v., or paying for all the data exchange during online browsing. But it’s a self contained media unit that you can record video, audio, and take and edit pictures with lots of options that let you have allot of control over each. So hopefully soon I’ll be posting some media straight from it. Look out.

Guitar work & Wiring

If you need any work done on your guitar, I have very reasonable rates. I’ve been working on guitars for years. I’m not set up to do any major work right now since I’m in limbo, but if you need any re-wiring done or any minor stuff like that, pickup changes, setups, whatever, as long as I can do it, I will. I’m also getting ready to do pickup rewinding, so if you need that service, let me know, I should be ready by the time anyone asks. I don’t do finishing though, but just about everything else, so let me know what you need and until I move and have more room, I’ll see if I can do it for now.

Great, although not for me. I would never be caught dead playing a Vee, but I think they’re cool and enjoy seeing others play them. There are very few Vees that I think are cool, for example, some older Gibson Vees and some of the crazier Jackson Vees, especially the Roswell one, also posted by AzCat.

Boy does this guy have some Cool Ass Guitars.

I Smell a Rat!!

I LOVE me a Rat pedal

I swear by them. To me they are the best sounding distortion boxes around. Mix it with a tubescreamer, or even another rat, and it’s a tone to die for.

And I’m talking about the originals. The new ones don’t sound the same. I’m lucky, I’ve got an original, and an original Rat2 with the led light. Yup, pure heaven.

What’s up with Ebay?

As far as guitars go, I’m really perplexed by the fact that there’s such a fluctuation in prices on good and bad instruments. Good ones not pulling in nearly what they should command, and bad ones pulling in way more money than they’re worth. For instance, I just sold a Shecter C7+, which was the top of their Diamond line, for $280, while I saw a lesser model 7 string Shecter go for about $400. I should’ve definitely gotten that, but I didn’t put a reserve either which is my own stupid fault. I don’t think allot of people knew that particular model because it was discontinued a few years ago, but was comparible to their blackjack line, if not better, in my opinion. Just like the C+. The plus signified the better build. I hated to ship that one.

I’m sure everyone’s got horror stories from Ebay, I know I’ve got plenty. But if it has to do with music equipment, I’d love to hear. I’d also love to hear any suggestions as to how you handle your selling so that it goes good.

Something for Your Health

In my blogroll I have a link to a site that sells magnetic rings for your fingers and feet. Now I use these magnets and they work. Magnets have the mystical magnetic property that our bodies also have, so it makes sense that they would do something, but what they do is beneficial. Within the first week and just using them on my right side, I noticed the bags under my right eye were gone and I didn’t have them on right. So just a suggestion, I think you should try them out, they’ve been proven to improve blood flow and I believe, as many others do, that they do much much more. If you do try them, please let me know what you think or how they benefit you.

Of Things to Come….

Ok, so I’ll start out this by saying that I’m a little confused about this blog thing, but I’ll keep tinkering til’ I get the hang of it. Also, my hope is to do this at least every other day or so, so….

First on the list is, ok… I’ve decided a couple things. First, I’m gonna start selling vinyl albums on ebay. I’ll post the link in a couple days if anyone’s interested, and if you are you can let me know what you’re looking for and I’ll see if I can come across it. I’m gonna be getting my stock, so to speak, at the local thrift store, and boy do they have some good stuff. It’s cuz of the area, very “urban, so there’s like old Rolling Stones albums there for like $1.

It’s also very late, or early, depending on how you look at it and I’ve been up pondering the future all night so I’ll fill you in on more of what’s to come for me tomorrow.

Hello world!

Hello indeed! This is my test post. I’ll be trying to get this together so you’ll probably see alot of changes in the future, but for the best as I really wanna make this blog thing cool, kinda like my own diary, which I’ve never had in real life so why not put it all out there? Or most of it anyway.

I’m citing this site as my official space on the web. So welcome!! I will be posting here allot once I get comfortable and figure out this system better. So as time permits you should be seeing much more from me shortly. In the meantime, I have a spot on myspace
